Touchprint makes tactile 3D images from a single photo for blind people using AI and 3D printing. People can upload a photo of choice in their website and they create a 2.5-dimensional relief that can be experienced using the senses of touch and hearing. There are about 40 million people in the world who are blind and could benefit from their solution. They even apply the technology for art, culture, and education by selling to museums, libraries, and schools with a focus on visual inclusion. Touchprint already has their first pilot projects with the Staatliches Museum Schwerin, and will soon be launching the product to the public.

BeeBrain
The Problem
Teachers face the daily challenge of accommodating students with different learning speeds and needs - yet there’s rarely enough time to address every individual. Other digital learning platforms offer practice exercises, but they often lack flexibility and don’t always align with the curriculum or teaching goals.
The Solution
BeeBrain identifies individual weaknesses, delivers personalized exercises and explanations. If a student struggles with a specific topic, BeeBrain provides targeted exercises and easy-to-understand examples. If a student excels in a topic they receive more advanced material to keep them challenged.
BeeBrain tracks student progress and highlights areas where they need additional support. This allows educators to adapt their teaching more effectively without manually adjusting lessons for different skill levels.
Donista
The worldwide digital advertising spending reached 424.4 billion dollars in 2023 and is expected to grow to 605.6 billion dollars by 2027. Donista gives you the opportunity to funnel the provisions of your online purchase, that would normally go to some online marketer, to a charity of your choice! By this you can support the cause you prefer the most without ever having to spend a dime of your own.
First Step
Helping young people take the first step towards mental health support
Navigating through finding the right support for mental health challenges can be difficult. That’s why First Step is working on ways to make mental health support more accessible for young people.
Too often, those who need help don’t know where to start. Our goal is to develop a solution that guides young people toward the right support.
We’re looking for new team members who are passionate about mental health or have programming skills to help us shape this project. If you’re interested, we’d love to have you on board!
Focelle
Focelle helps students tackle excessive procrastination caused by social media.
The app disrupts users' social media browsing with active interruptions, such as pop-up windows displaying a to-do list, reminders to take a walk, or prompts to call parents or friends. These interventions help shift focus away from distracting platforms and guide users toward more productive activities, promoting better time management and healthier habits.
We’re looking for support in the areas:
Development & Technology: App development
Psychology & User Behavior: Effective intervention strategies, motivation techniques, habit formation
Funding & Monetization: Business model, investment opportunities, crowdfunding, partnerships
SmartGlow
Municipalities spend around 1.3 billion euros annually on street lighting, accounting for 60% of their electricity costs. With rising energy prices, they face significant financial pressure.
SmartGlow addresses this challenge by making street lighting intelligent and efficient. Using sensors, streetlights automatically adjust their brightness: they shine at full intensity only when needed and remain dimmed otherwise.
The lights also communicate with each other to ensure predictive illumination of adjacent areas. This technology enables municipalities to significantly reduce costs, freeing up funds for other social and environmental projects.
At the same time, SmartGlow helps lower CO₂ emissions, reduce light pollution, and protect insect populations. Private users can also benefit from this innovative solution.
We’re looking for support from people with a background in electrical engineering.
